Trip to south africa

More vacations, yep. you have to wonder.

A friend and I spent a few days hiking along the isolated lakeshore of Lake Malawi. It was really beautiful and very unspoiled. Trash was almost non existant as the poeple lived mostly off the land. It was quite removed from my normal life. Great fish. To leave the final village we took a small boat for about 6 hours along the shoreline to a bigger city. It was a great hike though very hot.

From there six of us loaded up into a bus and took a 24 hour journey to Jo-burg South Africa. If you do not know this is a very rough and supposed dangerous city. We had nothing but kindness. One girl left her purse in a taxi. She called and the guy returned it. The people at the airport were amazed. We picked up a rental car and drove to the Drackenburg mountains. It is a amazing place that is shown in many brocures and postcards. We did a short bit of hiking and then drove to Durban the next day.
